Imagine the hours of enjoyment you'll get working on this applique design of spring flowers. It has something for everyone.
The little cottage featured in the centre has been hand appliqued with fusible webbing. A colour wash of paint has been applied and then the embroidered flower bed has been added. Two ducks are waddling across the lawn and a butterfly drifts over the garden.
The detailed floral border has been worked in needle turn applique embellished with buttons.It features some dimensional flowers as well.(see image below)

Techniques used: Fusible hand applique, colourwash painting (optional), hand embroidery,sculptured flowers, needle turn applique, hand quilting.
